I came to the conclusion that the old out of date unlicensed antivirus package was keeping the computer awake due to activity or updates and preventing it from going to sleep. When I uninstalled this and moved them to a cloud platform for antivirus, computers that before were always on now kept going to sleep. It had an old unlicensed centrally managed antivirus software that would detect threats, but since they never bought the license, it would just log them and never remove them. The one that most closely matches my scenario is here (but it got closed without an resolution) -Įssentially, I inherited a network that was pretty sloppily done. ![]() So, this problem has been asked before, but never answered. ![]()
